SONGG Overview

The Spitzer Observations of Neutral Gas Galaxies (SONGG) is a newly-proposed survey in the far-infrared (FIR) using the Spitzer satellite telescope based on SINGG and SUNGG surveys. Unlike SINGG and SUNGG, FIR is used as a star formation rate (SFR) tracer and SONGG will provide a complete view of star formation in dust-enshrouded environments for a sample unbiased in terms of prior SF.
